* Garden State Chorale for Vocal Musicians

Garden State ChoraleThe Garden State Chorale is one of South Jersey’s oldest singing groups.  The organization was founded in 1932 as the Haddonfield Choral Society and changed the name to the Garden State Chorale in 1993 to reflect the varied locations of its membership.   The Chorale’s activities include an annual holiday concert, an annual spring concert and other programs performed at various venues throughout South Jersey.  The Chorale takes pride in its reputation for presenting musical entertainment of the highest caliber.

Each year the Chorale awards a scholarship designed to assist a talented young person prepare for a career in vocal music.  This year the scholarship is a one time award of $500.  To be eligible, high school seniors must intend to attend college and pursue an academic study in vocal music.  Candidates must complete the attached application and submit a vocal audition MP3.  Once chosen, the winner must perform two musical selections at our Spring Concert on May 17, 2025.  The application and further information is attached.
