INFORMATIONAL

 

  • Attention Class of 2019: The Otis Spunkmeyer Fundraiser will run from now until Monday, September 25th. Please take advantage of this opportunity to earn some money for your individual account. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Spera or Mr. Blenderman.
  • Attention sophomore class: 
  • This year's Avon fundraiser will start the week of September 25th.  Please see Mrs. Schmidt or Mr. Niemczak for more information. A portion of your sales will go directly to your senior trip account. 
  • Seniors and Junior drivers should see Mrs. Jordan in the main office this week to register their cars for student parking.  Spots are going quickly.
  • Attention freshmen!  This week in your freshman seminar classes you will be receiving paperwork for the Fall Mums Fundraiser.  This fundraiser will help to raise money for the class account and your individual account.  All competed order forms are due to Ms. Lucidi in Room 219 or Mr. Marter in Room 105 no later than Monday September 25th
  • Chances are you or someone you know has a talent. Why not showcase those talents at the 7th annual Delran's Got Talent competition? From dancers to comedians to jugglers, we want to see whatever you consider your special skill on Tuesday, October 10th right after school in the PAC for Preliminary Auditions. Directions and the deadline for how to sign up are on the flyers hanging in the hallway! If you have any other questions, please see Miss Schreiner in Room 109."

  • SPORTS
  • The Girl's Cross Country Team improved its record to 8 - 1 with wins over BCIT Westampton, BCIT Medford, Holy Cross, and Bordentown.  Top Finishers for the Bears were Julia Stoer, Kaleigh Castellano, Maddie Brignola, Kelly Mesisca, Gwenna Singer, Kayla Daly, and Christina Cauley.  Great Job Girls!
  • Congratulations to the boys cross country team on defeating Holy Cross, Medford Tech, West Tech and Bordentown yesterday, improving their record to 8 and 1! The top finishers for the Bears were Shivam Garg, Brendan Strauss, Nick Guarino, Jordan Jackson-Conner, Tim Sharpley, AJ Lavery and Luke Heisler.

 

CLUB

 

  • "Love Broadway?  Want to have adventures out of town?  The Cultural Club is the one for you.  We will have our first meeting TODAY after school in B-109. Old members must attend, and new members are welcome to join the club.  We will discuss our plans for the year and decide on our first trip.  Any questions, see Miss Schreiner in B-109."
  • There will be a meeting of the culinary arts club on Thursday 9/21 from 2:20 – 2:45 in Room 112.
  • The Delran Green Team will have its first meeting after school this Thursday at 2:20 in room 240.
  • The History Club will be having its first meeting of the year this. TODAY. We will be discussing our agenda for the year. All interested students should meet in Room 223 after school or see Mr. Adams.”

  • The High School Robotics Team is meeting TODAY immediately after school in Room 140
  • Anime club will meet this Thursday in room 116. 
  • Did you miss the first Spanish club meeting? That is okay! Our next meeting is Wednesday 09/27 after school in Room 205. Please make sure to come out and hear from our club officers regarding the club's plans for the fall. 
  • The Art Club will have it’s first general interest meeting in room 117 on Tuesday, 9/26.  New and old members welcome.
  • The next greyhound walk is scheduled for Sunday, October 1st.  This Sunday come and visit us at Holy Cross for Delran Day as we raise money for the animal victims of Hurricane Harvey.
  • Attention German Club members, please vote online today for your officers. Winners will be announced on Thursday. See Frau Diamond for any questions. 
  • “The DHS Mock Trial Team will be holding its first informational meeting for all new and returning members interested in participating this season.  If you’re interested in law, like drama, or just like to argue, join us after school on Tuesday, September 26th in room 218 to find out more about our team.”
