          INFORMATIONAL

  • Also help will be needed to set up the for the CraAre you in need of service hours?  The senior class is looking for some student volunteers for Friday, Nov 30th and Saturday, Dec 1st to help with Lunch with Santa. Volunteers will receive service hours.  Interested students can sign up outside of Mrs. Carey's room which is room 221.  
  • Also help will be needed to set up the for the Craft Fair.  Help will be needed Friday November 30th and early Saturday December 1st.
  • If you are interested in helping, please see Ms. Carey in rm 221.

  • Who’s ready for the 1st Annual HOCCER tournament?!  It will take place on Tuesday, November 20th right after school at 2:30pm in the DHS Gym.  It’s being sponsored by our very own Peer Leaders and we’re looking for at least 12 teams made up of 5 players per team.  Please see any officer, Mr. Marter or Mr. Repece to pick up your registration form.  Your team must have the form and money turned in by Friday, November 16th so start picking your squad!

  • The Chemical Engineering and Manufacturing Club will host a free screening of National Geographic’s new documentary film: Science Fair TODAY from 2:30 – 4:30 pm.  ALL STUDENTS AND STAFF ARE WELCOME!!!  See Mrs. McVay to let her know if you would like to attend the FREE SCREENING (RSVP is important so that enough snacks will be available).
  • The German Club will be collecting Toys for Tots from now through December 3.
  • The Culinary Arts Club is looking for help for a dinner on November 20.    If you need community service hours, please see Dr. Anderson in room 112.  Thank you.
  • The History Club will be holding a “Diversity Hat Day” fundraiser on 11/21. 
  • Dust off your Kangols, fedoras and bowlers, and trucker styles and begin Thanksgiving break in style.   
  • See Mr. Pope in advance to pay your $1, and or your 1st period teacher on 11/21 to receive your payment badge. 
  • Want to support the DHS Spanish Club? Check out Chipotle on Centerton Road this Wed., the 21st, between 4-8pm! Mention DHS when ordering your food. Feeling lucky? Bring your receipt to Ms. Sanchirico in 205 to prove you supported the club fundraiser! A raffle will be held upon our return from the holiday break. You could be one of the lucky winners to receive a gift card! 
  • The Green Team will host a short school grounds cleanup today after school from 2:20 – 3:15.Gloves and bags will be provided.Meet Mr. F at the bear at 2:20.Feel free to bring your friends.
